Zardoz vs hood.fun

Both products sit on Robinhood Chain (chain id 4663). hood.fun is a dedicated launch surface many RH traders already know. Zardoz is a launchpad and pro terminal: Instant launches with permanently locked Uniswap V3 LP, passthrough to other pads, farm, watchlists, and non-custodial trading in one app.

Neither product is affiliated with Robinhood Markets. Pick based on whether you want Instant locked V3 + multi-tool trading, or a single-pad launch flow you already use.

Short answer

  • Choose Zardoz Instant when you want 100% listing supply locked as Uniswap V3 LP, on-chain logo() / socials() for scrapers, and the same UI for discover / farm / trade.
  • Use hood.fun when you specifically want that pad’s launch UX and community flow — Zardoz does not replace every pad’s bonding curve.
  • Use both when it helps — RH is still early; liquidity and attention fragment across pads. Zardoz also routes launches through other factories (NOXA, Pons, Bankr, Klik, …) from one form.

Instant: locked Uniswap V3 LP

Zardoz Instant deploys into Uniswap V3 and sends the LP NFT to the Instant locker. Creators can claim fees; they cannot yank LP. That is the core trust story for Instant tokens versus launches where deployers retain the ability to remove liquidity.

Terminal vs launch-only

Zardoz ships launch + trade + farm + signals/watch surfaces. If you already live in a launchpad UI and only need create → share CA, hood.fun (or another single-purpose pad) may feel simpler. If you want one Robinhood Chain home for Instant launches and day-to-day trading, Zardoz is built for that.

On-chain metadata for GMGN / wallets

Instant stores logo as ipfs://, plus description and fixed-slot social URLs on the token contract. That helps GMGN-style clients and wallets show identity without waiting only on off-chain JSON. Warming public IPFS gateways after pin still matters for first paint.

When to use which

  • Launching with locked V3 LP and scraper-friendly metadata → Zardoz Instant.
  • Launching on a pad you already trust for curve mechanics → that pad (hood.fun or via Zardoz passthrough where supported).
  • Farming Uniswap V3 or watching RH flow → Zardoz /farm and /watch.
